Uber Driver Mod Revamped

Complete Mechanics & Payout Guide

An in-depth look at how the ride simulation works, from earning money to handling passenger behavior.

1. The Payout System (How You Get Paid)

Every ride's payout is calculated dynamically based on distance, surge modifiers, service tiers, and your driving performance. Fares and tips are handled in distinct calculation passes.

Base Fare Calculation

Dynamic Surge Pricing

If you pick up a passenger inside a red surge zone on your map, a huge multiplier is injected right into the base fare. Finding these zones is key to making massive payouts.

Service Tier Multipliers

Different classes of rides provide bonus multipliers strictly to the base fare:

Estimated Time of Arrival (ETA)

The mod calculates your ETA by assuming typical driving conditions. It adds a 1.4x pathing-curve assumption to the straight line distance, then divides by an average speed of 15 meters per second (~33 mph) to allow realistic leeway for traffic, intersections, and safe driving. Beating this ETA is crucial for high ratings and tips.

Tip Calculation & Star Ratings

You always start a ride with a 5-Star rating. As you drive, accumulating damage or taking too long drops your rating:

The resulting star rating dictates the standard tip generation range:

Stars Base Tip Probability
5 Stars 15% to 25% of the final Fare
4 Stars 10% to 15% of the final Fare
3 Stars 5% to 10% of the final Fare
1 - 2 Stars 0% (No Tip)

This percentage applies to the fare, then gets multiplied by your user TipMultiplier, and finally by the Passenger Personality Modification.

2. Passenger Personalities & Dealing With Them

Every passenger generates with one of 7 unique personality algorithms. This governs their strictness on damage, ETA times, and tip generosity.

Pro-Tip: The passenger's personality is displayed to you on the incoming ride offer and the Ride HUD. Play to their traits to avoid 1-star ratings!

Chill Local

Your standard, relaxed everyday rider. They are extremely forgiving of minor detours, traffic jams, and bad driving.

Rushed Commuter

They have somewhere to be and expect you to drive efficiently without delays.

Tourist

In town for a good time. They love scenic routes and hate erratic driving.

Partygoer (Intoxicated)

Wild, unpredictable, and loud. Vastly more common during the night shift (8 PM to 5 AM).

VIP Executive

Expects nothing but the most premium, flawless service. Highly lucrative but requires extreme care.

Penny Pincher (Cheap)

Hyper-frugal passengers watching the meter intensely. They despise detours.

Risk Seeker (Speed Demon)

Adrenaline junkies. They want you driving fast and weaving through traffic.
